Bedfordview Pre-Primary

Formerly known as Bedfordview Christian College, Reddam BCC campus first opened its doors in rented premises in 1994 to 42 children and expanded rapidly over the next ten years. January 2003 saw the expansion of Bedfordview Christian College under the Reddam House banner in Bedfordview. Reddam BCC campus as it is known today, currently caters to the educational needs of over 400 students from Pre 1 to Grade 3.

In addition to the many specialized classrooms, BCC campus offers:

  • A computer centre with state-of-the-art technology
  • Art class
  • Equipped kitchens for pre-school baking
  • Media centre
  • Six-a-side soccer field
  • Cricket nets
  • An extensive recreation area that is set in a natural shady environment, with playground equipment for the primary students.
  • The BCC campus is located on the corner of van der Linde and Concorde roads in Bedfordview and is 1km from the main campus.

Pre-Primary Curriculum

Pre 1 to Pre 3

Reddam's Pre-primary School follows a child-centred, enriched curriculum that encompasses the learners' creative, sporting and academic natures.

Included in their daily programme is:

  • Ball skills
  • Swimming
  • Speech and drama
  • Computer literacy
  • Music and movement
  • Art

Numeracy and Reading are nurtured from Pre-1 culminating in the ability to read and manipulate simple sums by the time they reach Pre 3.
